Accelerated Reader

To develop their literacy skills, the boys in Scoil Phádraig use a software programme called Renaissance while at school. This is where they take their AR reading quizzes.

Renaissance Home Connect enables parents/guardians to view information on your child’s progress. You can also sign up to receive email notifications after your child completes an activity or assessment at school.

Using Renaissance Connect

When you go to the Renaissance Home Connect website, first you will see a Student Login page asking you to enter your son’s username and password.

Your child’s username and password has been sent home in a letter. He can login and complete AR  quizzes up to 6pm.

When logged in your will see options to select Accelerated Reader (AR) and Star Reading.

To take an AR quiz on a book that your child has read you can search for the book title by clicking on Find a book and search by title, quiz number (listed on the cover of school AR books), author our keyword.  You can also search books by class groups.
